Privacy

There are no visitor accounts and no advertising.

Visit statistics come from Google Analytics, which counts pages viewed and sets cookies to tell visits apart. It does not tell this site who you are. You can block it with any content blocker, or use Google’s opt-out.

Saved parks are kept in your browser on this device only, with a copy of their pages (and of pages and photos you opened) so they work with weak signal. Clearing your browser data removes them.

Your location is used only in your browser, and only if you tap “Near me” or have allowed it before, to show distances. It is never sent to this site.

Maps load map tiles from OpenFreeMap, which sees your IP address like any website. Videos load from YouTube (privacy-enhanced mode) or Vimeo only when you press play. Fonts load from Google Fonts.

Server logs record requests (address, page, time) for security and are deleted after 30 days.

Photos on this site have their location data removed before they are published.
